Hotel General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager for an independent limited service hotel, located in the complex casino market of Vicksburg, MS. This motivated, energetic and people- oriented person must be sales orient and have the "hands on" ability to oversee all daily hotel operations, while fostering an atmosphere of mentoring and teamwork and creating the standard for excellence in guest service. The candidate must possess a clear understanding of sales and marketing in order to maximize market opportunities and identify new or modified approaches to benefit the property. This individual must have the ability to analyze P&L reports, inclusive of budgeting, forecasting and achieving targeted Net Operating Income and Revenues.

Job Requirements include:

Candidate must have a minimum three years experience managing a select service hotel or three years upper management (AGM, Operations Manager, Front Office Manager) of a full service hotel. The candidate should also possess clear verbal & written communication skills, expertise in sales/marketing, have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and property management systems. This candidate must also provide leadership to all associates in their respective departments, as well as, inspire all associates to achieve the company's financial expectations and guest satisfaction goals & objectives.
