Preschool Teacher

Summary of Position

Responsible for the development and implementation of educational programs for preschool children in accordance to Phoenix Children’s Academy curriculum, procedures and initiatives, providing a learning environment that is safe, comfortable and healthy, in order to enhance children’s growth and development.

Education/Experience/Skills (May vary depending on state and position)

  • Associates Degree in ECE or CDA preferred
  • Related degree with 6 hours completed in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ year experience teaching preschool age children
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and willingness to work varied shifts
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Knowledge of National and State Education Standards, Fire and Health Regulations and Educational Programs
