Kennel Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

Mechanicsville Animal Hospital is now hiring for full-time and/or part-time kennel assistants, morning, afternoon and/or weekend shifts are available. This position is fast paced and can be physically demanding. Applicants must be 18 years or older and animal experience is preferred, although we are willing to train. Some tasks include but are not limited to: maintaining cleanliness among exam rooms, reception areas, hospital grounds, treatment and kennel areas, cage cleaning, laundry, pet dishes, dog walking, mopping, and feeding animals. Some light animal restraint is periodically required. We are seeking team players with a strong, dependable work ethic and a positive attitude. Starting pay is $8.00/hour.
