Insurance office near Great Neck is currently in immediate need of an Accounting Representative/Bookkeeper. This is a direct hire position. Primary duties will include but are not limited to: Analyzing accounts for proper application of payments, posting payments, performing bank recs, assisting in month-end closing, providing impeccable customer service, as well as other duties as needed.

The successful candidate must have
* Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience within the insurance industry
* Excellent communication and writing skills
* Extremely detail-oriented
* Proficient with MS Office Suite
* Experience with QuickBooks
* Imaging System experience a plus, however not required

Salary: $70,000 for someone with all of the qualifications above
