Applications Developer - Advanced - Full-time / Part-time

Role: Advanced Applications Developer
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Type: Contract to Hire


Designs, analyzes, develops, codes, tests, debugs and documents programming to satisfy business requirements.
Proficient in application development skills for more than one technology as well as proficient in multiple design techniques. This position should typically be used for an advanced or lead level resource.
12 years of experience developing Java/J2EE applications in N-tier architecture.
Experience interfacing with relational databases utilizing Java Database.
Experience with Java Message Service (JMS), JEE Connector Architecture, and transaction management.
Experience with different presentation and server side frameworks (e.g., Struts, Spring,Hibernate, MVC etc.,).
Experience with testing tools such as Mercury QuickTest Professional 10.x Astra LoadTest 5.4.3 (with Load Runner).
Experience with application servers such as IBM WebSphere & JBoss, OAS.
Experience in continuous integration environment, JENKINS,SVN,AUTOSYS,MAVEN
Experience with database, Oracle preferred.
Familiarity with XML,XSD and Web Services is a must
Experience with design and development of multithreaded applications
Nice to have experience JBPM, WebSphere BPM 8x, Drools,Rules Engine (ILog/JRule).Minimum 10 years of Application Development work experience with 3 years of AD lead experience.
Strong technology delivery experience with n-Tier, SOA, Web technologies.
BPM experience is a plus
Senior application lead, you are responsible for application design, development and unit testing of critical components of corporate wide, global risk management system.
Providing thought leadership and design/ development expertise to the peers and developers.
