Warehouse / Forklift - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

Will be working in the warehouse on a daily basis but will also make trips to the manufacturing floor to help out if needed. They will be operating a forklift occasionally and will have to pull parts and material for the lines. They will NOT be on a forklift all day and the company would like to certify to their stanards. They will also be loading and unloading trucks, and storing materials.

Work Environment :

It is hot in there! Candidates need to be prepped to understand that the work environment will be hot in the summer and cool in the winter. Some people could have issues with the heat so we need to make sure we lock them down and make sure that the candidate is ok with that. It's also a little dirty. There is wood shavings and foam shavings on the floor in certain areas.

Safety is their number one initiative and our candidate must be willing to comply with all safety regulations.

MUSTS:

Be willing to get trained and certified on a forklift
Must have experience working in a warehouse environment
Must be willing to help out in all areas if needed

PREFERRED:

Sit down, cherry picker, or reach truck experience

Performance Expectations:

Day 1:

They will be trained under their lead in the department and will be expected to take initiative to learn. Performance is based on their effort and how quickly they can work

Day 30:

They will need to have a good understanding of their department and a few of the others. They will be expected to be able to operate on their own for the most part by this time.

Shifts:

1st: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
2nd 4:00 pm - 12:00 am
