YOUR JOB AS A HOST

As a bd’s Host you are the first and last contact for our guests. You greet them, make them comfortable, and show them to their table. Applying your personality to have FUN and guide the guest through a bd’s experience. You will do whatever it takes to create Mongo Magic so that each and every guest leaves happy. You will learn the following bd's Host objectives:

  • Communicate in a positive manner
  • Professional appearance and the well groomed uniform
  • Host Stand familiarity
  • Greeting and seating our guests with a smile
  • Paging/Calling a guest
  • Restroom checks
  • Invitation to return
  • Correctly answering phones with enthusiasm
  • Knowledge of bd’s culture, the establishment, menu pricing and directions
  • Interacting with guests
  • Proper knowledge of how to use the wait sheet to quote properly.
  • Carryout procedures
  • Call Ahead Seating
  • How to properly set a table
  • Teamwork
