Job Description
Maintains established standards for high quality food. Serves and delivers patient and non-patient meals. Knows, practices and teaches principles of quantity food preparation. Handles all cold foods following established HACCP standards. Stocks holding coolers according to established par levels. Sets up steam tables according to established maps. Prepares cold foods and beverages for patients and customers according to tally and production sheets. Serves customers in a professional manner practicing good customer service, proper merchandizing, and correct portion control. Accurately assembles and delivers patient trays to appropriate unit/room according to established procedures following AYR guidelines including procedures for priority trays.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience: No previous experience required. Education: High School or equivalent preferred.
License or Certification:
Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Hours/Pay Period: 20
Schedule Details: Monday through Sunday 5:00am-8:30pm, varying shifts
Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend/Holiday rotation
Compensation Detail: The minimum rate of pay for this position is $12.56
