Our client is currently looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team for a direct placement opportunity. This individual will be working hand in hand with the Manufacturing Manager to help grow this thriving business. They will be responsible for developing processes, improving efficiencies and helping to develop and implement and ISO system.

This particular client is a rapidly growing, technologically advanced company. They are looking for someone who can be hands on working on the floor, leading the parts of the team and developing processes.

Job Performance Objectives:

  • Applies advanced planning and scheduling techniques (WBS, OBS, CPM)
  • Performs schedule variance analysis
  • Facilities plan development and implementation
  • Develops and documents WI, processes, and procedures
  • Trains employees in new processes
  • Provides technical support for solving assembly issues
  • Initiates and evaluates cost studies
  • Recognized as an expert in field of work
  • Provides resource requirements planning
  • Identifies mfg. issues and recommend alternative solutions
  • Strong ISO experience and related training
  • Solid process design and layout to achieve efficiencies
  • Develops design of experiments (DOE) to evaluate process improvements

Job Requirements:

  • BS in either ME, Manufacturing, Operations or Materials
  • Minimum of 7 years hands-on experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing setting
  • Self starter
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft PM a plus

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and skill in the use of MS Office
  • Great interpersonal skills involving cross cultural and cross functional
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task by handling diverse assignments concurrently
  • Well developed Mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Expert knowledge of design, development and test engineering, manufacturing processes, assembly processes and materials
  • Previous experience in starting up new processes, validating processes, starting up new equipment, plant layout, venting and related siting.
