With its two campuses Atlanta Medical Center and Atlanta Medical Center- South, Atlanta Medical Center is the second largest licensed-bed hospital in Georgia. Atlanta Medical Center - South is a community hospital with a friendly "family" atmosphere.
Atlanta Medical Center is seeking highly motivated, skilled and energetic patient care "sitters" to join its patient care team. This is a new position. The ideal candidate has a healthcare background as a personal care assistant or nursing assistant.
Sitters will work under the supervision of a RN. The patient sitter maintains constant direct observation and visualization of identified patients. The patients may be medical or behavioral health patients. The sitter may need to assist with ADL's and personal care.
The individual selected for this position must be flexible to work at either facility for a given shift.
High School Graduate or equivalent
Current Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Prior patient sitter and/or C.N.A. , P.C.A or P.C.T. experience
Current CPI training or obtained within first 30 days hire.
