About this job
Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine-to-skilled preventive maintenance duties in the repair, alteration and modification of buildings, equipment, and facilities. Provides in-service and instructions to all other Maintenance personnel.
Preferred candidate will have minimum 3 years engineering experience in building maintenance or construction or electrical / heating/ ventilation/ air conditioning/refrigeration and/or plumbing trade. Reading and interpreting blue prints/construction documents/operation & maintenance manuals and schematics.
Must have e xperience with carpentry, dry wall, floor covering, ceiling, painting and wall paper repair. Technical trade school/trade license, preferred. Must be able to work on tobacco-free campus.
