- Assisting guests with the menu and altering them to potential dietary conflicts
- Informing guests of any additional charges
- Accepting cash payments while checking for counterfeits and providing exact change
- Reviewing order details and offering receipts
- Maintaining stock of drink, chips and supplies at the cashier station
- Properly checking IDs when serving alcohol and opening all beers sold
- Offering to assist customers with small tasks such as opening non-alcoholic bottled drinks
- Following guidelines for Discounts and Rewards
- Arranging the salsa bar when opening and cleaning the salsa bar when closing
- Preparing the coffee, tea, and soda fountain when opening

- Using basic kitchen equipment safely
- Preparing and pre-portioning various sauces in designated containers
- Maintaining a clean work area and cleaning equipment between each use
- Returning equipment and ingredients to proper storage locations
- Alerting superiors when more prepped items are needed
- Following recipes as written with accurate measurements
- Inspecting ingredients before use to ensure quality
- Following District Taco's safe food handling practices when preparing, cooling and storing food
- Disposing of all food that does not meet safety and quality standards immediately
- Providing support to fellow employees to ensure completion of tasks outside of basic responsibilities
Cleaner

- Periodically deep-cleaning equipment throughout the day to mitigate sediment accumulation
- Organizing all food storage areas such that the first items received will be the first used
- Unpacking shipments and breaking down boxes
- Returning equipment to proper storage locations
- Collecting loose trash in the kitchen
- Managing trash and recycling receptacles in the kitchen to avoid overflow
- Following the policies of the waste management service regarding dumpsters
- Filling 3-compartment sink with the proper temperature of water and concentration of sanitizer
- Testing the sanitizing solution periodically to ensure proper concentrations
- Refilling the sink as needed and maintaining a clean work station
- Providing support to fellow employees to ensure completion of tasks outside of basic responsibilities
