Description

Branch Manager I

The Branch Manager I manages sales, operations and P&L of a small branch (typically two million or less cases) to meet financial and company objectives for profitability and growth. Manage sales force in expanding market penetration and ensure timely product delivery and proper merchandising.

Position Responsibilities
  1. Meet monthly sales targets and income goals.
  2. Maintain expenses within forecasted levels.
  3. Develop and monitor staffing levels for all branch operations.
  4. Set, implement and monitor trade execution standards for Direct Store Delivery. Standards include account frequency, display diagrams, equipment sets, and account service levels, including merchandising standards.
  5. Develop and grow working/business relationships with all major chain customers.
  6. Maintain company safety standards throughout the branch.
  7. Ensure assets (trucks, equipment, etc.) are maintained in safe operating conditions according to company guidelines.
  8. Set and maintain company standards for delivery truck case averages per employee.
  9. Foster professional business relationships with all levels of management.
  10. Participate in regular business reviews and trade field surveys.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Three years consumer products sales experience in progressively responsible positions
  • 2 years previous management/supervisory experience
  • 1 year experience in consumer products industry
  • Pass a drug test, criminal background, verifiable employment verification, social security, and motor vehicle record check
