Description

Supportprogram integration, communications and execution to achieve brand and category objectives. Lead appropriate Brand Activation programs and support Activation programs for Snapple. Collaborate with key business partners, both internally and externally, to achieve consistent "communications impact" throughout the marketing mix to the consumer/shopper. Act as support for the Snapple Brand, Program Activation Manager, as well as execution leader of many Snapple marketing activities.

The position is based in our Plano, Texas headquarters, with 10% travel.

The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Marketing + an MBA. They will have 3-5 years of progressive consumer marketing experience and/or account service experience in a corporate or agency environment, related to field marketing/activation event marketing.

Position Responsibilities

Snapple Activation Strategy and Insight Development (15%)

§ Participate and contribute to the long term development of the Snapple Brand

§ Deliver strategic program activation solutions to support Snapple objectives. Assess opportunities for these brands based on strategic fit, always ensuring strategic linkage of program development and activation back to the brand objectives. Assist Mgr in working with Consumer and Shopper Insights team to develop consumer/shopper insights that will “ground” all programs from a variety of primary and secondary data sources

§ Understand and communicate Snapple’s unique selling proposition to key stakeholders internal DPSG departments, Field Sales, Bottlers, Retailers and Consumers

Snapple Project Management/Execution & Post Analysis (45%)

§ Lead flawless execution of full year Activation programs

§ Manage timelines, budget, creative development, approvals, cross-functional communication/alignment, sampling, and merchandising

§ Strategically drive and lead program development and execution for all drive periods including activation behind innovation

§ Support Manager & Director on all planning deliverables and meetings as needed, providing detailed activation plans for sales.

§ Manage day-to-day relationships with agencies (Sampling, Creative Agencies, Promotional Partners etc.)

§ Drive and manage post program analysis with Brand teams

§ Participate in RCI (rapid continuous improvement) efforts (ie: process enhancements, budget forecasting/tracking, cost-savings efficiencies across categories/brands etc.)

§ Ensure on-time posting of all sales decks, order forms, and various department deliverables for planning cycle.

Consumer Messaging (10%)

Deliver clear and concise messaging that maintains brand strategy and creative principles on all projects, to include but not limited to:

§ Consumer Promotion Development and Execution

§ Package design and execution

§ POS/Merchandising creative evaluation and development

§ Style guides

§ Product Sampling Initiatives

§ Photography, Hero packaging

Activation Budget Management: (15%)

§ Responsible for actively managing portions of the Snapple Activation budget, adhering to finance deliverables & driving cross-functional accountability.

§ Responsible for tracking and processing all creative and program related invoices, communicate to key stakeholders. Identify issues and proactively solve to maintain budget at/below plan.

Leadership and Coaching (15%)

§ Gain alignment and understanding from key stakeholders, integrate and collaborate with creative teams, Brand, Sales, cross-functional activation team and agency(s) partners to execute the project. Develop strong working relationship with Brand Managers and key DPS sales stakeholders.

§ Support Brand Director in prep for Marketing/Sales alignment meetings.

§ Activation Team Collaboration - drive collaboration across team to ensure sharing of best practices and team camaraderie

§ Drive career path by meeting with manager regularly.

Qualifications

  • MBA from an accredited institution, major in Marketing or a related field. Bachelor's degree will also be considered.
  • 3 years experience using MS Office products (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • 1 year of experience leading presentations directed at Marketing Leadership
