Mechanical Design Engineer

Currently hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer needed to support a 3D integration project for a growing and global large electromechanical equipment manufacturer.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• The design engineer is responsible for supporting the product engineer and will build out a database of drawing options.
• The incumbent will make 3D models, detailing the various equipment options for each structure i.e, create a drawing for a handle added, create a drawing for a foot hold added, create a drawing for a light fixture added, create a drawing with an anchor point added, etc.

A qualified candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Must be familiar with fabrication of sheet steel, including weldments and machining.
• Must be able to model proficiently with Pro E 2.0 at the latest. Pro E experience should be within the last year.
• Must be capable of understanding the design goals of the position and produce drawings that meet company standards.
• Minimum level of experience is 2 years mechanical design or 6 months if using Pro E in a relevant position.
