About this job
We are looking for Construction Materials Technicains (CMTs) for a client of ours in Nashville, TN. Qualified candidates will have experience testing concrete, soils, aggregates, etc. Candidates with NO EXPERIENCE are encouraged to apply ONLY IF they have various construction certifications (OSHA certifications), or degrees involving environmental science, geology, civil engineering, etc.
The Construction Materials Technician will be responsible for sampling and testing concrete. On various worksites technicians will be inspecting foundations, assessing subgrades, and inspecting steel reinforcements in concrete.
Qualified candidates may also be responsible for inspecting soils, aggregate, pavements, and masonry on construction sites as well.
Basic laboratory soil and concrete testing.
Candidates MUST be willing travel, and submit to drug/background/MVR screening.
