Crown Services is looking for a Maintenance Service Technician for a local Company that is an authorized full-service distributor of the very finest commercial laundry and dry-cleaning equipment in the Nashville TN area. The position that is available is either temporary to hire, short term or a long term temporary position. Crown Services does offer health benefits, a 40 hour work week, direct deposit and vacation pay. Pay is based on experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Must have a technical background, previous commerical laundry equipment repair experience a plus.
Ability to understand control wiring and mechanical skills.

Ability to read electrical schematics and trouble-shooting abilities.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Demonstrated mechanical skills and have their own tools. Employer will provide specialty tools.
Must be customer oriented, have a positive attitude, and a desire to be a part of a growing and highly motivated service team.
Critical Success Factors:
The employee must maintain an excellent attendance record, which is defined as being at work all the time and on time.
Ability to read and follow work instructions.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to detailed but simple written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in different situations.

Responsibilities:
Performs assignments that range in complexity from simple machine repair to troubleshooting complex electrical and electronic systems.
Insure compliance with Federal/State/Local safety and environmental regulations.
Field maintencance services for customers such as hotels, nursing homes, and jails.
Seek corrective actions for maintenance issues.
It is on-site maintenance/repair of washers, dryers, and related laundry room equipment and possibly occasional installation/removal of machines.
Maintaining customer relations and performing other duties as required.
Effort/Physical Demands
The employee is required to stand on his/her feet for long periods of time.
The employee is required to use hand to finger, finger to finger, handle, or feel objects, and use hand tools or twist fasteners repetitively for long periods of time.
The employee is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, see and hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
While performing his/her duties, the employee is regularly exposed to loud noises and electrical hazards.
