Sodexo is seeking two full time Registered Dietitians with 0-1 year of experience at St. Francis Hospital located in Columbus, GA; nearest metro Atlanta, GA.
St. Francis Hospital is a 450 bed facility located in South Georgia with over 2000 employees.
St. Francis holds certifications from The Joint Commission in five areas. We are currently certified in cardiac care services, diabetes, orthopedic and strokes.
Our facility currently boasts 2 ICU's with plans for a third to open in the fall.

The ideal candidates will be highly motivated with a minimum of one year acute care experience and works well as an integrated team member with physicians, residents, nursing, and ancillary staff.
Responsibilities include providing the opportunity to apply clinical skills for inpatient and outpatient populations in all units of the hospital. Other responsibilities may include participation on committees (wound care, cancer & diabetes), medical rounds, projects, and community presentations. The candidate will work with a team of Registered Dietitians and the Clinical Nutrition Manager to provide nutrition exemplary care. Familiarity with the nutrition care process and electronic medical health charting experience is preferred. The hospital will be building a new wing; opening fall of 2013. Licensed in GA required before starting in this role.

Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 years work experience in health care including
hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term
care, retirement homes, or clinics, m eets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
