Hydrualics Repair Technician

A growing manufacturer is hiring for their Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will have at least one ear of experience, a strong hydraulics background and able to work on day shift. This manufacturer primarily supports the Automotive industry and has grown tremendously. They have a rich company culture and believe in promoting from within! Duties include, but not limited to: Disassembles valves, controls and sub assemblies. Inspects all parts for conformance to specifications. Prepares written documentation of work to be performed including but not limited to, bill of materials, stock in report, purchase requisition and computer documentation sheet. Assembles valves, controls, and sub assemblies using required parts and components in a cost effective manner to conform to installation and performance specifications of original manufacture. Mount's, couples or connects as required to test conformance of performance to original manufacture specifications. Maintain cleanliness and order in work and test area. Notifies supervision of any problems or delays that may cause late shipment. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed. Additional Responsibilities: This job may require the employee to occasionally supervise one or two employees. JOB REQUIREMENTS Qualifications include: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Shift Details: 1st shift opportunity Overtime is expected; You can expect to average 50-55 hours a week Compensation and Benefits: $15.00 - $20:00 per hour (based on experience) Manpower offers a competitive benefit package after 90 days of employment including; medical, dental, vision and 401K.
