Manufacturing Engineer

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Manufacturing Engineer.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower Professional is currently recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer for a world class manufacturer approximately 25 minutes north of Jackson, TN. This is a permanent placement opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

Support existing and new projects, programs, and product lines

Design, develop, test, and source various tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods

Perform research, design, and development of manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment

Prepare and maintains detailed layouts of facilities and equipment

Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products, including established goals, training team members, and evaluating results

Perform basic Manufacturing Engineering functions such as time study, layouts, cost justification studies, etc.

Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency improvement

Represent manufacturing on Kaizen events and cross-functional teams

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

3+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering

Project management experience

Experienced in aspects of tooling, including design and procurement

Skilled with 2D and 3D design software
