Overview

Our Corporate Applications Manager manages the IT Team responsible for supporting Corporate Applications. The Team's responsibilities include the implementation and operation of Corporate Applications that support all departments. This group of applications includes essentially all non-EMR/Medical applications supported by the IT Division. The systems supported by the team are all Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications. Major systems managed by this team include Kronos, SharePoint, RiskQual, Great Plains, SalesForce, iCIMS, BenefitFocus, and Provision. The level of support and management provided varies by application and for some applications; responsibility is shared with other departments and/or hosted application partners.


Qualifications

Education:
Degree in related area from an accredited college or university

Experience:
Ten (10 ) or more years application support experience
Leadership and staff supervision experience in a technical support role, preferably in an applications support role
Must be able to perform a moderate to deep level of hands on support for most of the systems supported by team
Expertise system analysis, data analysis, SQL Server, query tools
Ability to speak comfortably with Business Unit staff as well as technical IT personnel
Proven record of success managing projects to successful completion
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

1. Work with IT Leadership and the Divisions and Departments to plan, prioritize, schedule, implement and update the systems supported by the Corporate Applications team.

2. Oversee and manage the Corporate Applications including administration, monitoring, support, and problem resolution activities. 3. Manage the Corporate Applications staff including daily supervision, professional development, performance evaluations, salary administration, and disciplinary action.

4. Responsible for assuring systems and services supported by the team are operational on a 7x24 basis.

5. Develop and maintain knowledge and ability to perform hands on work on most systems supported by the Corporate Applications team.

6. Work individually with members of team to plan, design, implement, operate, and optimize the systems supported by the team. 7. Provide technical leadership to the team.

8. Provide mentoring and guidance in advanced analysis techniques including requirements analysis, process and data flow diagrams, operational procedures, data analysis, and other related system/data analysis methods.

9. Lead by example.

10. Work through the team to develops and maintains a knowledge base of common procedures and problem resolutions to enable the Corporate Applications team to be as timely, efficient, and effective as possible.

11. Insure that system documentation for supported systems is developed and maintained.

12. Develops and maintains procedures for appropriate daily, weekly, monthly, and less frequent system operations and maintenance.

13. Through team provides 7x24 coverage for systems supported by the Corporate Applications team.

14. Demonstrates and promotes strong customer service orientation.

15. Assumes individual accountability for own conduct and maintenance of professional attitude and appearance.

16. Approaches change in a positive manner, motivate staff to work as a team, accept constructive criticism and learn from it. Demonstrates esprit de corps.

17. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.

18. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations. 19. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
