Process Engineer Job - Full-time / Part-time

Process Engineer is needed for direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Santa Maria, CA.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:

A Process Engineer is responsible for supporting engineering by providing information as requested of the best materials for use in the construction of aircraft components with respect to strength, weight, certification compliance and regulatory requirements. In addition, he/she is responsible for establishing processes for production personal to efficiently and safely use the material selected per engineering drawings. In addition, oversees the incoming receiving testing and inspection of material as established in company specifications, qualifying material to specifications and establishing qualification criteria and publishing and/or updating material and process specification for materials and processes used throughout the company.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Define, develop, control and improve ZSH's Processes.
- Work closely with Design Engineering to select the correct materials, tools and processes for new products.
- Support Value Stream Engineers to root cause and countermeasure production issues.
- Create detailed tool manufacturer specifications for all ZSH tool types. (Match metal die, routing fixture, etc.)
- Define, develop and implement tooling, material and process specific work instructions for production.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Education: BS in Process Engineering or equivalent
- Engineering/Tool Design, Manufacturing, Process Selection & Standardization experience a plus
- 3D Modeling experience in CATIA, SolidWorks, Pro Engineer, or AutoCAD a plus.
- Continuous improvement mindset, mechanical aptitude, self-starter, ability to balance projects, team oriented.
- Description: Mid level engineering.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
