Purpose:


Provide leadership and management to the warehouse operation including effective inventory planning and control, payroll, the efficient and accurate loading of trucks, and leadership and development of the personnel in the warehouse.

Responsibilities/ Key Deliverables
·Assure that company policies are consistantly followed
·Control departmental costs
·Manage full goods inventories
·Guide and direct exempt and non-exempt employees
·Assist in evaluation of building and ground maintanence needs
·Ensure a safe work environment for employees and ensure that safe work practices are utilized.
·Ensure the adherence to proper quality standards and procedures.
·Drive continuous improvement with regard to efficiency.
·Support the customer service goals of the facility.

Requirements/Qualifications:
·Thorough knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution, with 5+ years of comparable experience
involving the distribution of food products.
·Warehouse Management in the beverage industry.
·Warehouse experience that includes facility layout, & a thorough understanding of thruput.
·Experience managing people with 2 to 5 years experience in managing, leading & training people.
·Should have extensive knowledge of Industrial Systems and Warehouse Logistics, Time Study principals
and Space Management.
·Thorough knowledge of the CICS system as it pertains to production planning, transportation,
inventory shipping, contract orders, and other functions that would affect the customers.
·Should have trade knowledge of the Company’s products/packages and the configurations of how they are
packed and will be loaded on the delivery vehicle.
·Strong knowledge of OSHA & DOT Regulations.
·Must have good communication skills to effectively deal with different functional managers.
·Must have an excellent quality record & experience in managing quality control.
·Must be self-motivated, positive, have a high degree of integrity, dependability & participate as a
team member to achieve common goals with sense of urgency.
·Must be able to meet customer requirements in a fast paced work environment.
·Excellent prioritizing and organizational skills, and good decision making skills
·Ability to communicate and present data to varying levels of the organization.
·Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to positively manage conflict.
·The ability to work cross-functional lines and achieve beneficial change.
·4-year college degree in transportation, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering or related field
is preferred.
·Must have good PC skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel is strongly preferred.

Schedule:
  • Monday thru Friday; some weekends.
