Production Process Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Production Process Engineer needed for a well established company in Spartanburg, SC. Must have a clean criminal background and the ability to pass a drug screen. The pay for this position is 50K-70K depending on experience. SUMMARY Responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES *Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems. *Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers. *Develop innovative solutions. *Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards. *Prepare samples for study. *Perform shrinkage and strength testing. *Collect, record, and transcribe data. *Show results in reports. *Maintain testing equipment. *Perform raw material testing. *Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process. *Advise on corrective actions. *Work with equipment designers and manufacturing companies to develop a cost-effective and working production process. *Research and purchase new manufacturing technology. REQUIREMENTS *Experienced in machining and assembling *Lean Manufacturing experience *Developing work instructions *Launching new Product lines *Familiar with auditing procedures *Production Scheduling *Ratio Potentials and realize them *Experienced in guiding and teaching Staff ( Leadership )
