Contingent upon award of Contract

Title: T38 Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) Program Manager (PM) / Director of Maintenance (DOM)

Summary: Directs all phases of the T38 AMP from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of the program. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules. Identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or negotiating change to contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with the T38 AMP Maintenance Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other contractual requirements.

* Establish and maintain resource allocation plans.

* Lead program risk and opportunity management process.

* Lead the T38 AMP team composed of multi-disciplined personnel to ensure realization of program objectives.

* Provide an effective customer interface.

* Act as the primary customer contact for program activities including briefings to senior customer management.

* Establish and execute a winning capture strategy for new business opportunities.

* Participate in negotiation of contracts/changes, coordinate preparation of proposals, statements of work, request for proposals and proposal evaluation.

* Communicate T38 AMP status, issues, risks, opportunities and plans to senior management.

* Provide day to day guidance and mentoring to employees and functional leads (Contracts, Business Management, Quality Assurance, etc.).

* Provide oversight and coordination of subcontractors.

* Meet program financial goals as established by senior management.

* Ensure program compliance with OSHA requirements.

Knowledge and Abilities:

* Possess the ability to provide/execute comprehensive management of the T38 AMP while interacting daily with USAF Program Management and customers at a high level.

* Detailed knowledge of USAF maintenance practices, AFIs, and protocols is required.

* Able to develop statement of work, assist in proposal development, capture management and business development.

Experience:

* Must have Technical or Business Bachelor Degree 12 years leadership experience in private aviation program management or DoD aircraft maintenance organizations---USAF preferred.

* Experience dealing with the USAF customer at a senior level is highly desired.

* Must have demonstrated leadership and people management and development skills.

* Possess strong oral, written, and presentation communications style and skills.

* Possess strong customer relationship skills.

* Familiar with Process Based Management, business process development and continuous improvement methods.

Other:

* Working knowledge of MS Office suite to include MS Word, Power Point, Excel and MS Project.
