About this job
The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing
the patient for their exam, assisting the physicians during their office visits,
supporting the provider
during procedures, treatments or providing patient education .
This employee is supervised by the Clinical Supervisor and reports to the Office Manager .
Part Time Day shift (three days per week).
EDUCATION :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION :
Certified Medical Assistant required.
EXPERIENCE :
Previous experience in a medical office environment
preferred.
SKILLS :
Strong understanding of
Anatomy and Pathophysiology.
Familiar with standard concepts and physician practice
concepts.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Strong customer services skills.
