Primary Responsibilities:

Involved in the definition, management and implementation of system projects
Manage the staff and other resources required to complete a project in a timely and cost-effective manner, and meet the stated business requirements
Manages one or more key projects, with accountability to develop project queues
Implements project management strategies
Provides trend analysis/review of projects, outputs/solutions
Makes recommendations on solutions to leadership
Ensures project objectives are set and roles of team members are clear
Monitors and reviews team outputs for multiple teams
Makes recommendations to teams with issues/barriers to continue project
May function as high level interface with business segments as to project status
Ensures multiple teams come in on time, within budget, manages delegation
Recommends solutions to conflicts, issues between multiple teams
Manages projects of 5+ workgroups with significant scope
Works effectively within organization to evaluate project results

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

BA/BS degree and/or equivalent education and experience
8+ years of direct experience as technical or business manager or a manager of complex projects
5+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Advanced project management skills training
Experience in managing multiple complex projects
Strong leadership and judgment, strong business acumen
Handles complex situations, conflicts, issues effectively
Must be able to analyze data, spot trends, barriers to effective project management
Must be able to effectively maintain/build relationships across business and technology groups
Flexibility/change management skills
Effective leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Business integration and migration experience
PMP Certification
