Summary
Must have a LCSW from an accredited College in the United States.
Assists in the development of new clinical programs, services, and policies and provides psychotherapeutic assessments and services to residential clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Provide diagnostic assessments to clients who enter ICES Inc.'s residential services.
2. Determine client's level of need for clinical services, including the appropriateness and frequency of individual therapy as well as group work.
3. Seek outside clinical services for clients when appropriate.
4. On-going diagnostic re-assessment of residential client's according to current presentation of psychological symptomology.
5. Provide individual psychotherapy to clients who enter ICES Inc.'s residential services (and clients transferred from Director of Clinical Services).
6. Develop and implement therapeutic treatment goals and plans for therapy clients.
7. Complete and review treatment plans with clients as needed (minimum of every 90 days).
8. Maintain required documentation including individual therapy and group therapy notes, documentation of assessments, treatment plan reviews, etc.
9. Develop needed group therapy curriculums and facilitate group therapy sessions with ICES Inc. residential clients.
10. In the absence of the Director of Clinical Services, address any and all emergent clinical concerns with any of the agency's clients as needed, including performing risk assessments, determining level of safety, and creating safety plans (as well as completing all required documentation and follow-up).
11. Develop functional behavioral assessments as needed for residential and vocational clients.
12. Develop and edit Positive Behavioral Support plans as needed for residential and vocational clients as needed and updating programs as behavioral issues arise/new interventions are needed/interventions need to be adapted.
13. Attend all team meetings and work collaboratively with team members.
14. Attend staff meetings to train staff on each new PBS plans are they are developed as well as continuous re-training for staff on PBS plans as needed.
15. Represent the Clinical Team at Bi-Annual and Annual client IP meetings and other IDT meetings as needed.
16. Develop new clinical forms and staff training as well as management training as needed.
17. Attend DCF & DDS Conferences as well as other conferences and workshops to keep abreast of new and empirically-supported clinical interventions, diagnoses, research, assessment practices, etc.
18. Provide staff training in Applied Behavioral Analysis and Habilitative Programming to contracted agencies (i.e. Accord).
19. Provide on-going staff and management training re: behavioral, habilitative and mental health.
20. Attend Residential and Vocational staff meetings as needed.
21. Work closely with managers and clinical team to answer and resolve clinical concerns.
22. Assist with development of new policies and programs.
23. Participate in the Director's On-Call rotation.
24. Become trained and receive all certifications needed to act as a Residential Support Staff and become certified in Medication Administration.
25. Conduct ACT Mental Health and Positive Behavioral Support Trainings.
26. Participate in Annual re-trainings and re-certifications as needed.
27. Schedule and complete Annual Pass and Pours as well as re-certification tests required to maintain Medication Administration Certification through DDS.
