Primary Responsibilities:

Project manage all aspects on the clinical review process for medical devices, including developing and leading clinical review teams, scheduling of literature review, physician surveys, and comparative effectiveness studies.  Effectively manages project timelines and ensures budget compliance
Communicate regularly with clinical leaders to build rapport, resolve differences, expand capabilities, and increase the company's knowledge of medical products
Manage outside services for literature reviews, quality reporting evaluations, and clinical focus groups
Coordinate the scheduling and execution of Clinical Review Team meetings
Participate in the coordination of clinical research studies conducted by the Optum-SharedClarity partnership
Effectively communicate CRT member -related information including planning and execution of meetings and presentations
Comply with guidelines and requirements of regulatory agencies
Coordinate the day-to-day administrative activities of the CRT
Collaborate with CRT members and staff to continually improve the CRT process
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
Maintain and ensure accuracy and alignment of the clinical review team activities with the organization (timelines, resources) and develop processes that improve efficiency

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in life science, pharmacy, nursing, dietetics
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a health-related field (eg: nurse, dietitian, pharmacist)
1 year project management experience
Assets Preferred:

Strong planning, tracking and follow up skills, well-organized, focused on results and capable of managing multiple projects with respect to priorities and self-management
Forecast appropriate timelines for the Clinical Review Team
Actively identify issues and challenges that present barriers to CRT program success and develop and implement appropriate solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Candidate must have strong knowledge of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to work independently
Participate in company-required training programs
Perform necessary administrative functions (eg: tracking of expenses, time and attendance)
Position requires minimal travel <5%
The candidate will be based in Phoenix AZ
RN preferred
Past experience working with physicians & knowledge of medical terminology and research is strongly desired
