Online Marketing Specialist

The Online Marketing Specialist is in charge of planning, development and execution of regional and national digital programs and campaigns, including the management and optimization website content, search engine optimization, pay-per-click campaigns, online display ads, e-blast marketing, social media communication strategies, lead generation, mobile device content and utilization, etc. This role drives digital initiatives on a number of fronts including, but not limited to, strategic plans, project management, creative design oversight, budget management, performance metrics, reporting and analysis. The Online Marketing Specialist manages digital agency relationships, day-to-day production, as well as campaign budgets and schedules. This is a detail-oriented, deadline driven position.

The right candidate has extensive knowledge and hands-on experience developing and managing websites, using best practices in SEO and PPC, as well as having a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint.

Responsibilities:

* Develop, Track, Analyze, and Optimize SEO and PPC campaign data and utilize tracking and analytics solutions to deliver maximum return. Includes data analysis, and ongoing reporting and strategic recommendations to clients.

* Maintain client web sites on a day-to-day basis adding and editing pages, content, and site map when needed.

* Self-directed day-to-day management of paid search campaigns including keyword generation, ad copy testing, bid management, landing page optimization, budget management, etc.

* Be the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for paid search with both internal and external partners including Google, Bing, Yahoo, Pandora, and Facebook.

* Design, test, and deploy email campaigns, including URL testing, creative and content approvals, and email deployment approvals.

* Explore, suggest, and implement new online marketing and advertising opportunities to generate traffic and leads.

* Build strong relationships with clients on short and long term initiatives and overall account growth.

* Keep abreast of the latest SEO, SEM and digital marketing industry information, trends and opportunities.



Skills & Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field with proven hand-on experience in digital marketing required.

* 3+ years' experience in an online marketing role with proven results driving traffic and lead conversion through channels including but not limited to online display advertising, content marketing, social/community marketing, affiliate Marketing, email, Web site analytics and Web site conversion metrics (CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL, CPA).

* Solid grasp of online marketing and SEO/SEM optimization best practices, including experience writing persuasive search friendly content to drive traffic.

* Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies for Google.

* Landing page conversion optimization (A/B testing, multivariate testing and offer testing background).

* Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.

* Proficiency in graphics, web advertising, social media and web development is a must.

* Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, DreamWeaver, HTML, HTML 5, CSS,and common CMS systems including Drupal, Joomla, and WordPress.

* Must be comfortable with challenging the status quo, embracing technology, putting forth creative ideas, championing and implementing process improvements, gathering the ideas of others, and demonstrating good judgment about which ideas will work.

* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under deadline pressure while managing multiple projects across multiple clients.

* Strong quantitative thinker with high functioning analytical and problem-solving skills.
