Warehouse Supervisor - Full-time / Part-time

We have a part-time/full-time opening for a Warehouse Supervisor.

Must be able to work at least 1 shift per week.

• Must have 1 or more years experience.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Background check required.

Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Function: Plan, organize, supervise and participate in the operations; Train, delegate, supervise and evaluate assigned staff.

Warehouse Supervisor Job Duties:

* Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
* Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers.
* Monitor WMS system; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors.
* Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
* Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
* Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances.
* Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; calling for repairs.
* Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
* Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Knowledge and Skills Needed:
* Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures.
* Methods of receiving, inspecting and issuing materials.
* Operation of a forklift and other assigned vehicle and equipment.
* Space utilization and inventory techniques.
* Deadline-Oriented, Time Management, Organization
* The ability to Train, supervise and evaluate personnel.
* Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Physical Demand:
* Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
* Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
* Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. * Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
* Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds
* Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust

Education Needed

High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate; some college preferred and 1 years warehouse or related experience.
