About this job
Electrical Engineering Lead reporting to the R&D Equipment Development team. Lead Electrical System development activities required to develop next generation equipment platforms.
Job Accountabilities:
Provide leadership in the development of computer based next generation equipment
Document, analyze, trace, prioritize, and gain alignment on requirement from multiple stakeholders
Provide overall electronics system architecture and design based on gathered requirements
Provide subject matter expertise in electronic systems design and troubleshooting
Integration, trouble shooting and problem solving of HW/SW issues
Maintain open communication and build strong relationships with multiple functions.

Education:
BS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience:
Proficiency designing and leading the development of PC based systems (10+ years)
Experience leader of multi-discipline engineering teams in integration of Electrical/mechanical/software components of a complete solution
Management of outside vendors - Deliver requirements and validate deliverables meet set requirements
Experience in equipment electrical systems development including power, communications, peripheral connectivity, wireless and regulatory approval
Experience implementing wireless data collection, transfer and queuing systems
Experience in the development of complex custom hardware/software platforms
Experience developing Kiosk equipment
Experience with developing remotely connected systems over cellular data networks
Experience directing the use of best practices for consumer systems development
Ability to translate complex business requirements into various option/solutions based on available technologies
Desired:
Understanding of product selling and equipment maintenance systems.
IP based Networking
Microcontroller firmware development experience.
Ability to managing suppliers and develop SOW
Supplier management (selection, SOW, issue resolution)
Create development estimates, timelines and schedules for projects
Other Job Requirements:
Travel mainly in North America, however international travel may be required to meet project & business objectives.
Occasional weekend travel is normal due to time required to travel to certain regions
Travel estimated at 30%.
