Sorter Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Monday thru Friday 6:45 PM-Finish and every other SundayGENERAL FUNCTION: Under moderate supervision, performs a variety of varied and complex machine operator duties on a document sorter (example: 3890, 7780. I-Tran) production machine. Required to follow multiple detailed procedures regarding system andmachine operations as well as light maintenance. May help more junior staff resolve issues but reports the most complex problems to senior staff.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Daily set up, maintenance and preparation of the document sorter machine for daily workload. This would also include routine maintenance throughout the shift.* Meet and maintain production and quality standards as set by work type and process.* Attentiveness to detail regarding the preparing of work for Capture and the delivery of work to our Transit destination.* Communicate issues to management regarding work quality and machine issues throughout the night.* Trouble shoots machine errors, rejects, and other issues quickly and accurately through the shift.* Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

Experience

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:* High school diploma or equivalent.* One (1) year machine operator or production environment experience preferred.* Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.* Self motivation.* Problem solving skills.* Attention to detail.
