We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Project Manager.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Requirements

Experis is looking for a PMP certified Project Manger for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our clients in the Daytona area!

-5-7 years of experience in Project Management required
-Successful implementation of at least one project with a significant organizational change that had measurable positive results in a clinical, hospital, or insurance industry environment is required
-Experience in effectively managing software vendors is required
-Experience in software selection methodologies and contract negotiations is required
-Proficient in the use of Project Management tools and processes is required
-Demonstrated ability to identify issues and propose methodological solutions, is required
-Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis is required
-Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills is required
-Experience working with information systems, possesses an understanding of application pro-gramming, database and system design, and graphics packages, is highly desirable
-Experience in regulatory requirements of the HMO industry, Medicare benefits, medical claims payment, and managed health care principles is highly desirable.
-Experience in software application development and process management is preferred
-Experience in healthcare and insurance is highly desirable

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for overall project management leadership and executive reporting communications
2. Responsible for overall project communication to sponsors and senior level management
3. Responsible for ownership and driving issues to resolution internally and with third party ven-dors
4. Responsible for the development and maintenance of project plans
5. Supports the project staff by facilitating project logistics, building of teams, and directing teams
6. Coordinates project tasks and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately
7. Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phase are documented per departmental standards.
8. Gathers and reviews test plans and test results prior to promotion to production environment


SECONDARY FUNCTIONS/PERSONAL WORK HABITS:

1. Identify, intervene, document, and report risk management issues to appropriate supervisor
2. Identify, document and submit suggestions of quality improvements to supervisor
3. Continuously explore and keep abreast of new technology and project management methodolo-gies, techniques, and best practices
4. Perform other job related duties as directed by the Project Sponsor


PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

1. Effectively document and maintain project plans
2. Manage projects to successful completion within scope, timeframe, and budget
3. Develop and disseminate task and project reports to management
4. Implement projects according to approved scope, schedule, and budget
5. Communicate effectively with sponsors and senior level management
6. Comply with departmental policies and standards for application development
