Job Qualifications

This position requires a bachelor's degree in Nursing or completion of accredited applied science degree program in Nursing. Candidates will possess a valid Ohio RN license and ability to obtain ACLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification within one year of hire. Work experience will include 1-3 years as an Intermediate, Critical Care or OB nurse in an acute inpatient setting.

Ability to care for normal and high risk pregnancy

Ability to care for patients in labor, high risk and OB triage

Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills

Good observation, assessment, and prioritization skills

Ability to adapt to a constant changing environment

About Our L&D Unit : Our perinatoloist and Maternal Fetal Medicine program provides the highest quality of care to high risk patients. Labor and Delivery has 24/7 in-house coverage from anesthesia, residents and attending physicians and our RNs are scheduled under AWHONN staffing guidelines. In addition to our state-of --the art environment, we offer outstanding orientation and educational opportunities to our staff.
