As an Amazon Innovation Intern, you will become immersed in our culture of ownership and innovation through an unforgettable 13 week experience in our fast-paced, dynamic and fun customer service site. This opportunity will allow you to think outside the box, solve problems and learn the Amazonian way of leadership. One exciting benefit of this internship is the ability to earn Internship Course Credit! Along with earning course credit, we will also be offering flexible schedules to accommodate your competing priorities as a student. Time blocks are Monday – Friday from 7 AM – 11 AM and 4 PM – 11 PM and Saturday – Sunday, anytime between 7 AM – 11 PM. A minimum commitment of 10 hours per week is required, however, you can work up to 40 hours per week. Deadline for submission is Sunday, September 20 th , 2015.

*Due to the internship’s mid-semester start date, you will be assigned an incomplete grade until the end of the internship in January

You’ll be:
  • Earning 1 course credit for every 50 hours worked (150 hours equals 3 course credits).
  • Completing a paper on a Leadership principle you have used to drive process improvement or support a needed innovation.
  • Working with senior leadership to receive a 360° overview of Amazon.
  • Exposed to Operational and Management meetings and an Amazon Cares Event.
  • Assisting in enabling effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
  • Supporting teams on the day-to-day resolution of customer issues.
  • Receiving $11/hr.

You’ll need:
  • To be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or Graduate degree program.
  • To commit to a minimum of 10 or more hours worked a week throughout the course of the internship (10/11/15 – 1/11/16).
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word).
  • Eligibility to work and be employed in the U.S., complete I-9 authorization.
  • To be able to work over the Holiday break, while also committing to one of the two following dates: Black Friday (11/27) and Cyber Monday (11/30) o rDecember 21 st - 23rd.
