About this job

Providence is calling a Certified Medication Aide (0.6 FTE, Days) to Providence Benedictine Nursing Center in Mount Angel, OR.

In this position, you will:

Perform basic nursing tasks and provide accurate medication administration and quality care to the residents maintaining a safe environment under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Model expert practice and facilitates orientation to basic resident care for new nursing staff.

Required qualifications for this position include:

Registered as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in good standing with the Oregon Board of Nursing. In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position. Preferred qualifications for this position include:

One (1) year of experience as a CMA in a health care setting. About Providence in Oregon
