The Registered Nurse (RN), Correctional Facility, under the supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse II, Correctional Facility, is responsible for providing basic nursing care to inmates incarcerated in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. This includes assessments, triage, scheduling, patient education, and emergency response coverage. Performs Health Care related duties consistent with the RN Scope of Practice. This Recruitment is for Limited Intermittent Employee (L.I.E.) Registered Nurse. This position will be limited to 1500 hours per calendar year and will be used on an on-call as needed basis with no guarantee of hours or a certain shift.

Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):

Possession of a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Registered Nurse.
