About this job
1. Ensure that the customer is the #1 priority and that every guest is treated accordingly.
2. Manages the first 5 moments of magic:
a. The bakery and deli cases have attractive and fresh products
b. The bakery and deli cases are well stocked and pleasing
c. Products are fresh and made according to service standards
d. Staff is greeting customers and delivering warm, friendly service
e. Staff is inviting customers back/passing out sample
3. Inspires exceptional customer service daily through supervision and leadership of on-site employees in accordance with company policies.
4. Schedule staff according to labor targets.
5. Negotiate pricing to insure the best price for the desired quality.
6. Possess computer skills to research products, maintain inventory valuations and analyze cost of products.
7. Work with Country Store Manager to train staff on food safety and sanitation practices
8. Monitor food safety and sanitation practices.
9. Effectively communicate work-related information to staff.
10. Determine production priorities for staff daily for in store sales and farm orders.
11. Develop recipes for bakery and deli departments as needed
12. Monitor equipment and report problems.
13. Divide time between production, floor and office.
14. Adjust staffing shifts, including own, to accommodate business level.
15. Hit sales, margin and labor targets set by VP Retail Operations Manager.
16. Work within Eckert's product and service standards.
17. Assist with baking and cooking as needed.
18. Respond to seasonal fluctuations and budget targets for labor and margins.
19. Engage customers through high levels of salesmanship to encourage additional purchases.
20. Receive and inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy.
21. Conduct weekly inventories, order products and maintain reasonable inventory levels.
22. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work station and surrounding areas.
23. Performs other duties as needed or assigned
