Time Warner Cable currently seeks a Traffic Specialist for our Media Sales Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinate order entry for Sports Network ad schedules and ensure that work flow for orders are completed accurately and in a timely mannerCommunicate traffic functions & capabilities back to internal & external customersMonitor schedules, exception reports and work with Account Executives to recover any lost revenueEnsure that all orders are entered completely & correctly and on timeTrack client tapes using the traffic system; Maintain files on all paperwork and electronic ordersAssist Account Executives, Sales Management and technical staff to diagnose problems with schedule deliveryWork with Account Executives to ensure proper copy is applied to all orders
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of the Traffic System as well as sales automation software is preferredProven ability to maintain high level of support to internal & external customersKnowledge of all Windows applicationsIndustry specific knowledge of general ad sales order entry practices is preferred but not requiredGood verbal, written & interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work under deadline pressures;2 years of industry experience is preferred but not requiredAbility to create and understand data reportsData entry accuracy is essential.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general publicEducation and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.2-3 years of work history in a data center, or operations environment is preferred.
