Provide our customers with a clean, safe inviting place to shop by ensuring that all Food Lion cleaning standards are met. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position contributes to and ensures achievement of proper conditions in all departments. Responsible for maintaining cleaning standards according to the Standard Practice Manual. Is courteous and helpful to customers. Sweep, clean and buff floors on nights with no scheduled vendor services. Weekly Produce, Market and Deli Department cleaning. Clean and organize the store mop room. Clean and sweep underneath the grocery gondolas on a weekly basis. Follow proper housekeeping and sanitation standards set by Food Lion. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and standard practices. This description is intended to outline the primary responsibilities, general nature and level of work being performed by associate assigned to this position. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and competencies.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 70 pounds.
Ability to push or pull product, up to 2000 pounds using a pallet jack.
Ability to meet production standards established by Food Lion.
Ability to use the scrubber and buffer provided by Food Lion.
Ability to rotate and organize product as needed.
Ability to complete Computer Based Training (CBT) and Training Aid courses when requested.
