LOCATION: St John's Pleasant Valley, Camarillo, CA 93010 DEPARTMENT: Patient Transportation
SHIFT: 8HOUR, Varied EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part Time HRS PER PAY PERIOD: 32 JOB ID: 1500021822
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the Transporter supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care and actively participates as a team member in the systems, functions and activities of the unit/department.
Minimum Requirements:
Current CPR certification
Basic knowledge of computer, copy machine, IV pumps and other patient care equipment and must be able to read fine print on patients name band, charts, etc
Be able to speak clearly and make self understood while also understanding the English language required
Preferred Qualifications:
High school education, hospital experience working with patient transportation, six (6) months recent hospital experience as a CNA, CT or UST and knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures desirable.
This position is represented by SEIU, Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
