About This Position

In keeping with French Hospital Medical Center health care philosophy, the Operating Room Clinical Nurse is an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing and patient care, and has the ability to practice independently at French Hospital and applicable entities. The OR Clinical Nurse also serves as a resource person as well as a preceptor. Under minimal supervision, the OR Clinical Nurse identifies and implements nursing interventions for patients and evaluates the results of these interventions for a given patient population. Supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care. Demonstrates ability to circulate on all surgical procedures performed at French Hospital.

RN Selection Criteria

Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing Currently licensed by the State of California as a Registered Nurse.

CNOR preferred or willing to get certification.

BLS required.
