L3 Cincinnati Electronics is currently seeking a Material Assistant Supervisor. This position will report to the Material Control Manager and will support the daily responsibilities associated with shipping, receiving and receiving inspection. These duties will include acting as a backup to all shipping transactions as well as leading resolution of receiving discrepancies in CP7. Support of Receiving Inspection issue resolution will also be required. This position will participate in and lead the implementation of Continuous Improvement events in the Shipping/Receiving and Receiving Inspection Areas.

Qualifications:

* Associates or Bachelors Degree or 10 years equivalent experience

* 5 years Shipping/Receiving experience

* Experience with Continuous Improvement and Implementations

* Must understand ERP functionality and the interrelations between Configuration, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement & Materials within an ERP environment

* Experience with Deltek Costpoint a plus

* Strong Excel skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects are also a must

* Ability to work well across functional areas a must

* Good verbal and written communication skills necessary

* Experience leading other employees/ supervisory experience a plus

* Continuous Improvement experience a plus
