Scientist I and II (Quality Control) needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's Bio Pharma client located in Cranbury, NJ.
Top skills you should possess:
- Compendial testing
- Experience with Empower software for HPLC
- Demonstrated experience with biologics (i.e. monoclonal antibody) using Size Exclusion HPLC, Cation Exchange HPLC, Capillary SDS (non reduced & reduced), UV280. Compendial (USP and Ph. Eur) testing experience is also desirable (HIAC, appearance, pH, TOC, osmolality, etc.)
What you'll be doing:
- Scientist I and II (Quality Control) will perform routine testing to support manufacturing and stability.
- Operate the instruments and interpret analytical data
- Mid level Scientist II (Quality Control) Perform method qualification and validation activities.
- Write and revise test methods and SOPs.
- Mid level Scientist II (Quality Control) Perform timely peer review of analytical results.
- Scientist I and II will Assist in training junior analyst to perform assays.
- Provide compliance support for corrective actions preventive actions (CAPA) and Change Control.
- Contribute to departmental activities such as safety inspections and internal audits.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS/MS in Chemistry/Biochemistry or related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years (Scientist 1) and 3 to 5 years (Scientist 2) within Quality Control laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with HPLC and UPLC techniques.
- Familiarity with cGMP requirements.
- Knowledgeable of USP, Ph. Eur. requirements for compendial testing.
