Role and Responsibilities

PrideStaff is seeking an Assembly individual with strong communication skills who is comfortable working in a team-oriented assembly environment for a distribution center in Butler County. This individual must be able to follow an assembly-related work order and must be comfortable standing on their feet for the duration of their shift. The shift will be from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday-Friday with occasional Sundays, at an hourly wage of $11.00/hr. This individual will be required to wear scrubs and comfortable shoes, which will not be provided. The individual must be comfortable with performing repetitive assembly tasks and must be capable of learning a wrapping technique.

Key components include:

Trained on two-person integrity, in which each operator verifies the correct component and its placement

Trained on sterile vs. non-sterile products

Understanding the importance of ‘Special Instructions’ and that this area must be initialed for verification

Understanding the importance of highlighting and initialing the component placement for verification

Understanding importance of location and labeling of overage so as not to mix with production work components

Understanding importance of labeling activities and accuracy of label counts

Understanding the importance of notifying the supervisor of defects

Qualifications and Education Requirements

This assembly individual must have recent and relevant assembly experience, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills

Shipping and receiving experience is a plus.

Additional Notes

Assembly candidate must be comfortable working 7-3:30 shift with the possibility of overtime and occasional Sundays.
