A clinically competent, Registered Nurse who is able to deliver care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and the multidisciplinary care team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The Registered nurse is responsible for carrying out routine patient care assignments, working in controlled patient care situations, performing established nursing care procedures and engaging in therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventative activities. Care of patients who are chronically ill include the convalescent, the aged or infirm and range in age from adolescent to geriatric under the supervision of the Physician. The RN applies knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan to identify patient and family requirements relative to age specific needs. The RN is responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and under the supervision of the Physician.

Current RN license in the state of Wyoming

Current BLS certification

Has good clinical skills and judgment.

Has the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Will complete a skills checklist within 90 days of hire.

Is knowledgeable of the nursing process and its applications, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the nursing care.
