  • Location: 785 Alameda Ave, Astoria, OR 97103. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8 hour days/ shifts.
  • Requirement: Must have food service experience and computer knowledge. A college education is a plus.

Summary: Responsible to aide in food service performance and programs for 4 school districts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in preparing documentation for any food service related programs ( i.e. promotions, caterings, daily operations etc.)
  • Visiting schools during a promotion and executing the event.
  • Perform site visits to supervise daily operations.
  • Provide support to staff ( i.e. monitoring paperwork, compliance training etc.)
  • Work effectively to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, students, parents and supervisors.
  • Enter weekly meal counts, inventory and bills.
  • Perform monthly bank deposit reconciliation.
  • Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports.
  • Follow USDA guidelines when creating school menus.
  • Placing weekly food orders.
  • Attend/ conduct meetings as required for staff and administration.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
  • Keep organized and on task.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Food Service Director.
