Security Officer - Full-time / Part-time

SUMMERHILL AT STONY POINTPOSITION SUMMARY Responsible for providing a safe and healthy environment for visitors, Patients and employees. Monitors environment to detect potential hazards and reporting same while providing assistance and services according to established procedures.JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Knowledge generally acquired through completion of a high school education. High School graduate or GED.2. Previous knowledge of security and/or law enforcement measures and techniques at a level generally acquired during 6 to 12 month of on-the-job training and orientation in such techniques or college curriculum in Administration of Justice.3. A valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver's license. Motor Vehicles driving record which is free of any moving violations within the past three years immediately preceding, or during employment with the Security Department.
