Providence is calling an experienced RN for our Director Of Nursing position at Providence Medford Medical Center in beautiful Southern Oregon. In this position, you will have responsibility over all In-Patient Services of our Medical Center.

The selected new hire is eligible for a $10,000 lump sum sign-on bonus with a 1-year commitment. In addition, relocation assistance will be available for your move to Medford, Oregon.

Providence Medford Medical Center is a full-service, 168-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital providing exceptional health care to southern Oregon and northern California. Services offered include emergency services, stroke care, cardiac and vascular care, birth center, total joint replacement and spine health programs, robotic surgery, pain management services, and one of the most comprehensive rehabilitation programs in the region.

In this position you will:

Be accountable for the provision and quality of all nursing services at a facility level in support of Providence Health & Services System and Regional goals.

Strategically ensure a balance of optimal and efficient patient care; staff, patient, and physician satisfaction; and cooperative partnerships with other organizational departments and professional groups.

With a constant focus on patient-centeredness and staff and patient safety, create and maintain standards and systems for care delivery at their facility.

Facilitate these systems of care delivery which promote evidence-based practice and are designed to support the management of productivity targets within a context of constant change in patient volumes, patient acuity, and available resources.

Through leading in patient care delivery and planning, strategically and consistently support efficient and effective patient care services, and achieving organizational and system goals.

Advance the strategic vision and goals of the Oregon Nursing Center of Excellence.

Constructively manage change and promote a team-based approach.

Model professional nursing standards and consistent expectations.

Required qualifications for this position include:

BSN; MSN or Master's in related field

Current Oregon RN License

BLS Healthcare Provider

10 years of progressive success in nursing and/or health care administration

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, electronic communication systems

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

National Certification from ANA or Professional Organization in relevant field of clinical expertise
